Peterloon is the Dan Beard Council (Cincinnati, OH)Boy Scout Encampment held in the fall every other year. This is the longest continuously running council sponsored event of its kind in the world, so it operates on a strong base of traditions and quality experiences. It began in 1927 and took its name from the Emery family farm where it was held annually every year until 1956, when it became a bi-annual event and moved to Camp Lower Craig, also called Cub Scout Adventure World.
