1929 Camp Eagle
1929 Camp Eagle |
Description: |
Camp Eagle was the camp for the Elkhart Area Council circa 1920 through 1936. The large eagles (one with 1931 on it) and the other embroidered felt were Honor camper sweater badges.
The smaller badges bronze, gold & silver were for achievement at camp. Thus the idea of different levels of campers at the later Camp Pioneer Trails. Stars were sewn to the eagles to represent years in attendance at camp. Paul Myers |
