There have been two issues from Camp Meisenbach when it was first opened. It was originally called Camp Comanche and the patches were of the same design as Camp Cherokee. The name was later changed to Meisenbach around the same time that land that holds both camps was named Clements Scout Ranch. 03.12.2004 19:54 JoeGriffis Member Join Date: 11.19.2003 Comments: 7 Second Patch issued by Camp Cherokee This is the second patch issued by Camp Cherokee. The differences between this patch and the first patch are at the bottom of the patch. The first patch said CHARTER YEAR 1967. This patch was issued for the first year the camp was open. The following year the patch said CAMP CHEROKEE. Both the first and second patches had CIRCLE TEN SCOUT RESERVATION. In the 70s this was changed to CLEMENTS SCOUT RESERVATION.
