As I understand it, this is the only known issue for Camp Verity. The camp property was owned by Armco Steel and leased to Tri-State Area Council as a campground for the Kentucky District. When Armco was bought out, the camp grounds were sold to a developer. The cabin was dismantled & moved to Yatesville Dam in Lawrence Co, KY.
On a personal note, i attended a couple of District and Council Camp-o-Rees at Camp Verity when I was a Scout. |
