Kamp Kamargo" patch (it belonged to Jefferson-Lewis Council and was open from 1921-1946....then it was sold due to its inadequacies and Camp Portaferry was opened in 1947)... this Camp Poraferry Staff photo from 1948 (apparently the Scout wearing it moved it below the pocket so he could make room for his new Camp Portaferry patch) documents its use....conversations with folks who camped there further documents its use.........Ray Gould, Portaferry Staff |
