I have copies of several newspaper articles for the old Eastern Arkansas Council. These discuss how Kia Kima wasnt being used by Chickasaw Council in the early 1940s. According to these papers, Eastern Arkansas Council leased Kia Kima for their own use in 1941 so this patch would actually be for the summer that East Ark ran the camp! According to some of these papers, the two councils even briefly entertained that East Ark would buy Kia Kima. This didnt happen and the next year, they bought and started operating Camp Cedar Valley nearby in Hardy, Arkansas!
