This patch was from Camp Cherokee in the Sequoyah Council or Tennessee/Virginia. The patch is a Sequoyah Council patch having been found in a group of items belonging to an estate of a scout from Erwin, TN (within Sequoyah Council). Some of the other items were rank and merit badge cards from the same year. It was an interim camp between the time Camp Osceola was destroyed by a flood and the time that Camp Unaka was opened in 1936. So it is for sure a patch from this camp which existed for only two years, 1934-35. |
